What is Customer Loyalty Index (CLI)

Customer Loyalty Index (CLI):
  • is a composite index in the sense of grouping several variables, combined in a standardized way, providing a useful statistical measure of brand ‘performance’ over time
  • depicts the ‘emotional’ relationship between the customer and the brand/company in a quantitative way.

How Customer Loyalty Index (CLI) works

Customer Loyalty Index (CLI):
  • categorizes Customers in four distinct loyalty groups.
  • classifies each customer to a group, depending on the ratings that he or she gives to each brand on three different dimensions:
    • Net Promoters Score (NPS)
    • Level of experience
    • Probability of future purchase (next time)
